Hi, Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Guten Tag, Здравствуйте, Ciao, Olà, Namaste, Nay Hoh, Salaam, Konnichiwa, Ahn-Young-Ha-Se-Yo, Marhaba, Ni Hau to the World! My name is Christopher Dobranski.
I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where I started to develop an interest in wood carving. This was the beginning of a magical journey which lead me to stone carving.
I had the privilege and honor to train and work with Master Alfred Zimmermann from Idar-Oberstein, Germany. I will carry on his tradition of high quality gemstone carving coming to life.
I also worked with many other Masters from Idar-Oberstein and many Masters from Russia.
Along the way, whether in America, Europe, Russia or Asia, I met some exceptionally talented individuals with whom I worked to create unique art pieces, from small jewelry to monumental in size, combining different medias whether Jade, Stone, Wood, Stained Glass to Damascus Steel.

Ich bin in Edmonton, Alberta in Kanada geboren und aufgewachsen. Dort begann ich ein Interesse für Schnitzarbeiten mit Holz zu entwickeln. Dies war der Beginn einer magischen Reise welche mich zur Bildhauerei mit Stein führte.
Ich hatte das Privileg und die Ehre, mit Meister Alfred Zimmermann aus Idar-Oberstein, Deutschland, zu trainieren und zu arbeiten. Ich werde seine Tradition der hochwertigen Edelsteinschnitzerei weiterführen, die zum Leben erweckt wird.
Ich habe auch mit vielen anderen Meistern aus Idar-Oberstein und vielen Meistern aus Russland zusammengearbeitet.
Auf meinem Weg in Amerika, Europa, Russland oder Asien traf ich einige außerordentlich talentierte Menschen, mit denen ich zusammen einzigartige Kunstobjekte geschaffen habe, von kleinster bis Monumentalgröße, kombiniert mit verschiedenen Materialien wie Jade, Stein, Holz oder farbigen Glas bis hin zu Damaszenerstahl.
